‘Chantara’ - traditional burmese Junk boat

The "Chantara" Junk is a 25 meters length and 8 meters width traditional burmese Junk boat entirely built with teck woods. The old type of sail with bamboo supports gives this very particular look. The "Chantara" Junk is now based at the pier of the Fishermen's Village of Bophut, north of Koh Samui.
